1.2 Health and Fitness Data

With your explicit permission, the App may access:

• Heart rate data — collected from Apple Watch via HealthKit during training sessions to provide real-time heart rate monitoring and zone analysis.

Health data is processed locally on your device and is only accessed when you grant permission. We do not sell, share, or use health data for advertising purposes.

1.3 Training Data

The App records the following data during your training sessions:

• Training type (CO₂, O₂, Breath Hold, Square Breathing, Custom Tables)
• Session duration and timestamps
• Breath-hold times and personal records
• Training progress and statistics

1.4 Device Information

We may automatically collect basic device information such as device type and operating system version to ensure app compatibility and troubleshoot issues.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the App's functionality
• Authenticate your account and enable cloud sync
• Track your training progress and display statistics
• Generate personalized AI training plans (Pro feature)
• Sync data between your iPhone and Apple Watch
• Improve the App and fix technical issues

3. Data Storage and Security

Your training data is stored locally on your device. If you create an account, your data may also be synced to our cloud service powered by Supabase, a secure backend platform, for backup and cross-device synchronization.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and secure authentication.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — for user authentication and data storage. Supabase Privacy Policy
• Apple HealthKit — for heart rate data access on iOS/watchOS (with your permission)
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store — for processing in-app subscription payments
• RevenueCat — for subscription management

We do not use any advertising or tracking services.

5. In-App Purchases

The App offers an optional “Apnio Pro” subscription. All payments are processed securely through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store any payment information such as credit card numbers.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your data may only be shared:

• With third-party service providers listed above, solely for operating the App
• If required by law or legal process

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Right of Access — request a copy of your personal data
• Right to Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to Erasure — request deletion of your personal data
• Right to Restriction — request restriction of processing your data
• Right to Data Portability — receive your data in a portable format (CSV export is available in the App)
• Right to Object — object to processing of your personal data

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data and training history for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, all your personal data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy in the App or on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
